The Biodiversity+ Project is an attempt to take a depauperate suburban property, neglected for almost 40 years, and through artificial means create and maintain a space with biodiversity exceeding that of its natural state.

Understanding which species are present in the local environment and how they interact with each other provides important information that can be utilised to modify the property.

Follow the active links below to discover the 650+ species recorded on the property over the last four years. Alternatively, search the EC Blog below by binomial or common species name.

This list is a work in progress and not all species on the property are currently listed. The number listed next to the links below represents the number of species Profile Pages currently prepared. For a full species list see the iNaturalist records for the Backyard Biodiversity project.

For details on the property, see the My Backyard page.
